When I stepped foot on Michigan State University's campus for the first time I was overwhelmed with an extreme amount of emotions. I was in awe, excited, and prepared to take on this next chapter of my life. Finding a home in East Lansing and Michigan State State Athletics is something I will forever be grateful for. Cheering for the green and white has allowed me to fully experience everything Michigan State has to offer, shown me the importance that athletics has in my life, and has shaped who I am today. From cheering at volleyball, to charity events, to cheering at the 2019 Final Four the memories I have made while cheering will never fade. The events and games I have experienced will never be taken for granted and always hold a special place in my heart. I have been involved with sports from a very young age and have always enjoyed its atmosphere and competitiveness. While also being a student here, I came to develop a strong desire to work in the Sports and Entertainment Industry. I would have never of thought I would want to land a career in sports, however after the exposure MSU Cheerleading has given me has changed my mind dramatically. I aspire to work in collegiate sports in either the conference or school level. Over my past three years on the team, the connections I have made with teammates has helped shape me into who I am today. My teammates and best friends have taught me to always stay in touch, be loyal, and to always be humbled by everything I do. The relationships I have made have been some of the most influential relationships I have had in my life and words can not explain how thankful I am for that.

Known for its traditional values, research capabilities, and historic greatness, Michigan State University stands as one of the most prominent and prestigious Big Ten Schools. Tradition lies at the universities core and speaks for itself. Tradition, to me personally, means staying true to your values, expectations, and never forgetting where you came from.

My most memorable experience while wearing my uniform would have to be walking into a Spartan Stadium through the tunnel for the very first time. I vividly remember walking in hearing the fans and feeling the surrounding sense of Spartan pride. In astonishment, I remember walking through the sidelines taking every second in. For only being on the team a couple months and walking into Spartan Stadium was the first time I felt what it actually means to be a Spartan. I felt at home and have loved this university since.

Who will? Spartans Will.
